Very nice. But was it just my aging eyes, or did the briefly-seen news clipping of "Guns n Roses guitarist sacks Wildhearts from tour" have a pic of Slash on it? NME-standard journalism on that one!
(I am of course assuming it refers to the Izzy Stradlin' tour and therefore has nothing to do with Mr Saul? If not, I am indeed a twat of the highest order )

Any news on who has written it? If it's going to be an accurate book you'd think the author would contribute heavily on here, this being the only regularly used Wildhearts / Ginger discussion board.

Are the band themselves involved and give their approval?

Can someone tell me what this is please? I dont have access to Youtube and judging by the comments on here it sounds like something i need to see! Is it some old footage that is possbly going to be included on a DVD?

It's a 2:27 promo featuring clips from the promo vids for Nothing Ever Changes But The Shoes, Lovebank, some live footage, Batman style spinning newspaper cuttings and folks such as Nikki Sixx, Lemmy, Slash and Scott Ian walking about the Wildhearts (I felt Scott Ian's to be the most enlightening).

The video was made, apparently, by Red Central which appears to be an advertising agency.

Could this be the book the Ginger One talks about in the Ginger Says that he says has been written but nobody wanted to publish it?

On the back of Ginger's hand on the book's cover, where Jasmine is written on his tattoo, says something and then Don't Try This At Home. Can anyone make out the first line? Could it be the author's title? Fairly sure it doesn't say Wildhearts.

Neil - it's a compilation Video advertised as a promo for a book about The Wildhearts.

Its 2:27 minutes long with loads of concert footage, and some tunes overlaid 'Geordie..' 'Everlone' 'Top Of the World' with various rock stars commenting on The Wildhearts (even if they have heard of them or not!) It could be a DVD preview, but a lot of the footage I recognised from 'Roadies' and a few other TV programmes and promo videos over the years so it could have been made with / without their consent, but it looks good and the cover of book features Ginger's arm from 'Coupled With' but that said it's a cool cover!

Hope that's summarises it for you.

oh man, I really hope this is as good as it looks. I hope it's been properly done, because there's a lot of cheap cash in books out there that are badly researched but if there's going to be a Wildhearts book it had better be quality. Looks like it will be too if that trailer is anything to go by. Any idea when it's out?
