Bloody good taste on Eve6 there my friend! Did you know that they have reformed? Albeit with a new guitarist but the vocal excellence of Max is still in the frame.

I am sure you know about Blink 182 - they have done some fine fine songs, as well as gimmickery.

A band who I cannot recommend enough to anybody who likes music is CAKE!

Motorcade of Generosity and Fashion Nuggett being two amazing albums, and the follow ups are pretty cool also.

With you on Cake!!! They're a truly great band - their cover of I Will Survive is very very cool.

A band called Suckerpunch!

I discovered this band in the Far East in about 1998. I bought their album simply because it was called "Suckerpunch" (I was a yonker at the time).

It was actually a really good band. Their s/t song is great. Hear it here.

Almost anything from Australia that was released on Waterfront Records.

More importantly, you need to hear:
The Hard-Ons
Nursery Crimes
Mustang
Strutter
Exploding White Mice
British India
Stiff Meat
Nunchukka Superfly
Hotel Wrecking City Traders
Brother Brick
Johnny Casino & The Secrets
The Pink Fits
Tumbleweed

In an attempt to mention bands that haven't so far been mentioned...

Favez - swiss rock band, big choruses, some riffs too - http://www.myspace.com/favez - Primitive Nation of One is a decent example. I love the guy's voice, especially in slower parts.. also checkout 'The Sad Riders' for his solo album of sorts

Mando Diao - swedish band, like all their albums except fo the newest one - check out Hurricane Bar and Ode To Ochrasy

Another swedish band... Johnossi
http://www.myspace.com/johnossi

The Loved Ones - featuring ex-members of the now defunct The Explosion (explosion ahve two main album - Flash Flash Flash which has a very 70's punk feel, and their major labelone Black Tape - catchy ut more mainstream sounding punk) The oved One's newest abum is great too.

more to follow, got to go out
