There's a sticky at the top of the page with some serious shit in it. Are we supposed to sit back and not discuss it?????

Call me a nosey bastard but when there's a post at the top of the forum from the ex manager like that I wanna know what has changed her mind on Ginger.

If it shouldn't be discussed then there shouldn't be a post like that at the top of the page.

And anyone who says don't speculate must already know the answer.

I personally think it's kind of chicken sh*t to post that as a sticky at the top of the page as an announcement where we couldn't directly reply to it. If Sammy isn't running the board anymore then any announcements from her should be taken down. She should have to post as a regular member, not a moderator. When she first announced she would no longer be working for ginger she handled it in a mature way. Now days later she sounds like some snot nosed child pitching a fit. Grow up Sammy, and you and ginger's elf go handle your personal issues with Ginger in private.

it's currently being left up there for a little while, as some people from the ".com" website board (who aren't on the Yahoo Groups LiST) won't know that it's been pulled, until they go there and find it.

To which point, they hopefully try looking in other places, and then they have kind of a reason why the .com website disappeared - in a kind of roundabout way, if that makes sense.

It will be moved at a later date - but offers a bit of explanation for people who suddenly find that a website they looked at a while back has disappeared and re-emerged somewhere else, with no reason why!

All her post is doing is fueling more speculation and rumours. Nobody needs to know the reason the board was pulled. All that matters is that it's back. The focus needs to be on ginger's music, not Sammy and Ginger's Elves trying to stir the pot. To post what she did, and then pull the site is incredibly immature.

Is there not a system in place on the forum for sending an email to everybody who is signed up to it, so you can let people know about big changes/ downtime for maintenance etc?

Seems odd if not - even the creaky old ( ) LiST has that option.
