Fortunately, that's what you did say. Nige's being a naughty boy and fiddling with your entry. :|

How the buggering hell did he do that?

Um, he pressed quote and then deleted some words?

Your original post is still intact.

Probably, but don't let that put you off. There'll be a few proper pubs too. :P

hey don't dis w/spoons dude when people use alcohol and cheap in the same sentence it just cannot be  a bad thing

Image :?

It's London. It won't be cheap. Instead of thinking bargain booze, think marginally less expensive pub without the atmosphere.

i stand corrected that picture is hideous

Not long now! :D

The O'Neils is the only one around there I have been in. It's right next door and it does food, but then so do the dodgy takeaways around the corner. I think we will be needing some grub with our pre-gig pint, but not too much for the jumping around.

Don't mind which pub we meet up in, I reckon they will be much of a muchness. Won't be there long I reckon as we have to get in early doors for Eureka Machines, so perhaps it will be a swift pint in the pub, then another at the bar inside?

If doors are at 7pm will people be in the pub from 6pm-ish?

It's a Saturday, I'd have thought there's a good chance people will be drifting in all afternoon.

Good. Then we shall just drift in after negotiating the 200+ miles we have to travel to get there. Given that we are relying on the good ol' punctual train to get there, I reckon it'll still be about 6pm for us.

Sounds good. Provided I can get there in time I'll definitely be popping but like Vicky and (I hope) everybody, I'll be making a rather early exit to dive into the venue...
