 who the hell's paying a fiver a pint? i'm aware the east end is a little rundown, but we can't seriously be paying £2.50 or more less than west london, surely? it's been a while since i've been in an O'Neill's but are they not between £2.50 and £3.00?

I'm afraid I'm having to be on my best behaviour at the show and meet up as Mrs Sarc is now joining us.

Maybe so but Mrs Sarc does so she'll have 'em and that makes the night slightly cheaper for me heheheheh    I'll have a coke or a sprite if they do it though.

I seem to remember the combination of drinks on the train, an offy round the corner from the venue, and O'neils contributing to very high jinx indeed in 1997 on the 'Endless Nameless' tour. It was messy and i loved it.

Probably, but don't let that put you off. There'll be a few proper pubs too. :P

hey don't dis w/spoons dude when people use alcohol and cheap in the same sentence it just cannot be  a bad thing
You get what you pay for... As soon as you taste Witherspoons watery beer you know why it's so cheap.

I bought a pint in Islington once that cost me a fiver. I put it down on a table, turned my back for 2 seconds and some bugger nicked it. This is one of many entries on my list of reasons why I don't live in London anymore.

I doubt it'll be a fiver where we're going though. Also, I doubt we'll care that much by the end of the night. It's not the watered down weak-as-piss alcoholic beverages we're in this for after all. Beside, you can always smuggle a small flask of JD in your socks
