Music for the December Tour

Postby Speedy1974 » 15th Oct 08, 19:19

So then what are the tracks you hope they play during the December tour?

Personally at the top of my wish list are Something Weird and Understanding Jane

If I was a guessing man, I'd say plenty of the usual (which is great - I want to hear Caffeine Bomb/ Suckerpunch/ I Wanna Go every time I see them), a few from Earth Vs not played in a while (inspired by the recent gigs), plenty of the self-titled and a smattering from the covers record. That's my guesses - what I'd personally like is a good mix of the surprising and the predictable.

(And hopefully the return of "F*** Christmas")

Just Stay - They should re-record it and release it as a single.

I'm not going to any of the gigs so I hope they play nothing but Celine Dion tracks. :D

Yeah but they'd play Celine Dion tracks much better than Celine Dion could!!
They've got to play a good chunk of 'Earth Vs...' so that us people not in that there London can hear some of the classics. I'd love to hear 'The Miles Away Girl' , 'Loveshit' and from even earlier days the 1st song that got me into them 'Turning American'!. I'll be happy them playing anything the new stuff is great too. I'd prefer some of the standards to be 'on hold' for a bit though.

It'll be great whatever!

I don't really care what they play but a live airing of 'Sweetest Song' would make my year. I could happily live without hearing 'OCD' again though.

I'm the opposite, I'd be quite happy if those didn't get an airing for a while otherwise there's not much that makes one gig different from another. They have such a wealth of material to choose from, I love hearing a track played live for the first time.

There is nowt better that an intro kicking in and then glancing between your mates trying to work out what it is or where it's going, like the last tour i didn't know they were kicking off with Unbroken so it was a great surprise.

Any PHUQ b-sides would be a treat, Shandy Bang, Underkill, Friend For 5 Minutes.

I hope they start with Unbroken again, that was a good set starter last year.

A few others I'd love to see would be;

Caprice
Zomboid
Understanding Jane
Vanilla Radio
Lovebank
Destroy All Monsters.

If they played any of those I'd be a happy bunny.
