Went to the Manchester gig last sat.
Airbourne were excellent. Well worth seeing. Okay they're pretending to be AC/DC but they do it well...lots of energy
Stone Gods were average at best....but each to their own I suppose

Think he meant that he couldn't hear you...haha!!

I got very pissed at the Glasgow gig and now have a number of UPI's (Unidentified Party Injuries btw...)

Got home pretty late after some burgers and chicken pakora, sat down and had a few more beers and then decided to go to bed, was convinced i switched everything off but could still hear this very loud buzzing..............turns out it was my ears ringing. Was like that up until yesterday...hahaha

Col - did you enjoy the gig? I was up on the balcony in the seats, my girlfriend somehow managed to select "Balcony tickets" by mistake when ordering online. First time ive been up on the balcony, wasnt too bad actually a bit like being in the cinema - a very loud cinema!

Neil
It was a cracking nite for £12.

The first band were great, but never heard a band that were third on the bill play it that loud before.

Stone Gods were immense in my opinion, really enjoyed them.

Airbourne - my ears were already shot by then!!!! Couldn't make out a word he was screaching. How funny was it when he played on the bar, disappeared then jumped over with a pint.

Class nite - very very loud and entertaining.

I enjoyed Stone Gods - third time I've seen them (all in London) and they've been better each time.

Airbourne were bloody fantastic! OK - so they are very AC/DC, but I don't have a problem with that. In fact I think they have made a better AC/DC album than AC/DC have this time round. I'm going to see AC/DC next year and I'm sure they'll be good, but I'll be very surprised if they are as good live now as Airbourne are.
