Round Records Question

Hello everyone

I hope it is a right place to ask this question here....

As a collector,I just wondered which items were produced (or planned) in the name of the first 4 titles from Round Records.It means I cannot find any items with the catalogue number ROUND001 - ROUND004 in my collection.ROUND005 is for VDC 2CD album as you know.

Please let me know if you know any info from these missing items.

Or should I ask this to Ginger himself?

i've not got the CD with me at uni so i can't really check, but wasn't Fishing For Luckies (the one with the fish and hologram cover thing) a Round release? or at least a joint release with Round and thelabelthatshallnotbenamed? i'm pretty sure mine has the Round Records logo on it.

I don't have the discs but I think Vanilla Radio and Stormy In The North... were Round as well...

Yeah, Fishing hologram cover is a joint Round Records/Warner release.

Just dug my Vanilla Radio and Stormy singles out.

As previously stated, they are both on Round Records, but codings are as follows:

Vanilla Radio:
CD1: (Putting it on, Looking For The One) SMASCD048
CD2: (OCD, Let's Go) SMASCD048X
7": SMALP048

Stormy:
CD1: (Bang, If I Decide) SMASCD049
CD2: You've got to etc, Move One) SMASCD049X
DVD: SMASCD050

so, unfortunately, I don't think we're any nearer solving the mystery of the releases numbered 1-4

I was always attracted by it, but not until later did I realise that it is, in numerology, the number of entertainment. It is also the number of man (if the Devil is Six and God is Seven). It's the number of digits on a healthy hand, the number of days before the weekend and the amount of strings on a guitar that you REALLY need to use!

So it wouldn't be at all out of character to start his new label on a number that he considers lucky for him.
