+Overall, they sounded great
+Rooting for the bad guy (even without Gingers vocals - yep, technical difficulties)
+Carmelita
+Jackson whites: sorry, I can't say much - I only heard it once :D. A pretty straightforward four-minute 'pop' song, I assume. Much better than Borderline. 8/10.

-The setlist was a disappointment: pretty similar to Helsinki/Tampere 2008 gigs, only five songs we didn't hear on those gigs. No 'Nothing ever changes' or other older classics, only one song from Phuq and from FFL etc. Of course it is great that they play here this often (third gig in five months), but playing the same songs again and again...
-They tried Geordie in wonderland with some local guy in vocals (despite his sayings he couldn't sing anything - just because he didn't knew the words)
-Ritch had a mike too, but the band failed to play Ice hockey hair and he sang only some backing vocals in Sick of drugs

Sorry, nothing new.

The local support band was called God Given Ass. Their vocalist used to sing in Tehosekoitin, and their song Pakko päästä pois is one of my all-time favourites in Finnish rock:

It's great if Rich has got his mic back. I always thought it was a pity that he stopped singing.

That still means they changed about a third of the set, which isn't bad going by any means.

I don't think there's any way out for Ritch after his performance on the covers album. :D

Hi everyone, my first post here, been reading the forums for quite awhile but only just got around to joining.

Had a blast at the Tavastia Friday night, no complaints from me about the setlist, very good choices 8)

Band were awesome, firing on all cylinders, smiles all around, having a good time.

Gingers banter was top notch, really good atmosphere at the gig.

I enjoyed the new song, uptempo number, good melodies on the chorus, as mentioned the mic stopped working just before Rooting for the bad guy but Ginger said they would do it instrumental, 3rd of the way in problem was sorted.

The guy plucked from the audience must be kicking his-self LOL, wanting to be on stage with the Wildhearts to sing and he didnt know the words

Met all the band afterwards, had a chat with them all individually, top blokes one and all, really made mine and my girlfriends night, looking forward to their next visit to Hellsinki, soon guys please!

Few pics from the gig, 20.2.09 Tavastia Club.

Is that a different Les Paul to the one further up, or just a light effect?

Never mind, I just noticed that it doesn't have a pickguard, so it's a different one - like it. :D

That second Les Paul Ginger is playing, CJ actually used that while his string was changed :)

Looks to me like tennis elbow supports. Right under where the 'soap' is, is where the pains shoot down your arm - or at least that's where they did when I had it.

Thought it might be something like that. So, how's CJ done whatever he's done to his arms then? Both of them?

A quick google suggests it might be something like tendonitis, but they're both aggravated but the kind of repetitive movement that you do playing the guitar.
