T Shirt question

Postby Keith Richard » 8th Mar 09, 14:47

Does anyone have any ideas as to the story behind the "It's All Fun Until Someone Loses An Eye" shirt?

I don't know but I think it's awful =(

Well, I think I heard that it's an artist friend they have that they asked to do some tees.

Bit rubbish though.

TBH I think some of the best tees have been done by your good self Lord Euan.

If I was more organized I'd procure a Wild at Heart one of you.

I agree. It just seems random and totally un-connected with the band. :?

Same here. Like there's a tee-shirt design shop somewhere that only bands are allowed to go to and that day they didn't have as much money as normal so they ordered one already made off the rack... said, "Yeah... just slap "The Wildhearts" up on the top of that right there. That'll do."

I bought it, I thought it made a change from the typical smileybone designs.

i bought the one of the man looking through the window. i agree, made a change from the usual variation on a smileybones design, much as i love smileybones! i thought they were quite cute designs really.

it doesn't have much to do with the band but you could say that about loads of band's t-shirts. like i say, i quite liked the variety.

Too many bands go for the 'Here's the band all as skeletons' type approach.

Why doesn't somebody photo shop the smiley bones grins and eyes onto the bands faces, properly i mean, not just flat but stretched to the contours of the face and that, anybody?

I think the Ed Heck shirts are pretty cool, yeah okay they are possibly a bit random even for the Wildhearts but they're no where near as bad as the Bring Me The Horizon ones I saw the other week,
Personally I think the best shirts the band had was when Phuq got released and we where all sporting those rather bizarre Danny Deen images. The Headsplit guy behind a the wheel of a car was my favourite, bloody ex nicked it.
Did you just say "Pig Flute"?

I thought the "Poke in the eye " one was great, everytime I try to order it , it is sold out :(

I loved the WH one that looked like the Warner Bros logo.

if you think their merch is bad, u wanna see the singer's clothing line - seems you can't open a rock magazine now without seeing that gormless twat staring back, dressed in some dayglo-fuckhead t-shirt abomination...
IF THERE'S A SOUND YOU PLAY THAT DOESN'T FIT TODAY,
WHY NOT JUST PLAY THE BASTARD ANYWAY?!

Someone should start a band called 'Dayglo-Fuckhead T-Shirt Abomination'. It's a great name!

I know someone who's the spitting image of the singer from Bring Me The Hairspray, so much infact that the night we saw them live (we went to see Mindless Self Indulgence), he got mistaken for him at least five times, to make matters worse he can't stand the band either

lol, I love those Ed Heck T-shirts, I bought the 'eye' and 'air guitar' ones.

I was kinda hoping they would do more!!!

...especially this one, which would make a great WH's shirt imo.
