They probably could have cherry picked better songs though.![]()
Was the actual broadcast as dark as it seems on my confuser or is my monitor a bit fucked??
theprisoner wrote:yes i meant that if i had to pick three songs it wouldn't have been those three exactly. and they could have easily squeezed one more in by chucking the interview, or doing a shorter one by editing out the bits where Ginger spends five minutes trying to answer extremely stupid questions.

It's obvious that they are doing what they are doing on a very limited budget but the whole concept is a pretty good one: live music and interviews of mostly up-and-coming bands. That's a good thing and I think it's miles better than Kerrang and Scuzz TV just rotaing a small set of viideos ad nauseum. Now, it's clear that Redemption TV have decided that they want all their presenters and interviewers to be pretty young girls and that's their priority (over and above any kind of actual talent) but apart from that, what they're doing is basically a good thing, IMHO.
And come on, what other channel has actually put G&TSC on the telly?

We're not knocking Redemption TV for putting the band on, the footage was good (if a little dark) - it's a good thing, and should be more widespread (there's a new series of Later... just starting on BBC2), but can you honestly say you learned anything at all from the interview? Another song would have showcased the band far better than the talky bit where the guys didn't exactly come across that well IMHO..
I'm sure they think it's a good selling point only having pretty girl presenters, and good luck to them, but surely there's no rule that says they can't have smart and pretty, is there? Or at least have someone write some questions out beforehand...
