i noticed that the other day Ean and assumed that Geturticket just hadn't listed them yet.

now Ticketmaster has them listed.. altho they're £14 from them

So tickets for Belfast are either £12.50, £13.50 or £14? I wish they'd make their minds up! :?

Another one? The words 'painting' and 'Forth bridge' spring to mind...
Nah I think we're getting there, I've done posters and flyers for 10 dates so far and sent 'em all to Kris. The few that are left are those that have still got details to confirm or can't make up their mind about ticket prices so I will do those when I get time and all the info's in.

Right now I'm off out to celebrate not getting made redundant !

For whoever asked about printing of the posters - I'm going to take some to the local copy shop to get them run out at A3. I think it works out cheapest if you get one printed from the file and then photocopy that, but you'll have to shop around local print/copy shops for a good deal. Unless you can print one out at work, then photocopy it. We have a nice big A3 printer at work, but I'm not about to risk losing my job again anytime soon!

Newport is still Wales isn't it? I guess Dudley or Manchester are the closest dates currently confirmed to North Wales.

After a fashion. From my flat in Bristol I get to Newport in half an hour. Which is great for me. I get to Newport quicker than the vast majority of the Welsh population can!

(Which means I'll be at the TJs gig)

I don't know if you've already got them, but these are the details for the posters that aren't up on the WH site yet:

Sat 9th May - The Railway, Winchester - http://www.railwaylive.co.uk - £15 - 8PM
Tue 12th May - Yardbirds, Grimsby - http://www.myspace.com/yardbirdsrockclub - £? - ?PM
Thu 14th May - Spring & Airbrake, Belfast - http://www.springandairbrakebelfast.com - £13.50 - 9PM

I've messaged Yardbirds asking about ticket prices and opening times, cos according to their site, they're not open on a Tuesday...? :?

Cheers Kris!

Ean - thanks, I've got most of that, wasn't sure if Winchester ticket price was advance or on the door but it seems like that is the advance price. Let me know if Yardbirds get back to you with the info pls.

I've put the Grimsby date up on Last.fm with the others, will check all the details we have so far are on there too. http://www.last.fm/music/Ginger/+events

I took posters in to the 2 main independent record shops in Leeds - Crash and Jumbo and they said they'll put them up next time they get a space on the wall. They've both taken a bunch of flyers too so that's good. Working on some other places that will take some flyers.

On the subject of posters - I don't know what this is like in other towns but in Leeds we have these large pillar things where all the flyposters for events get put. They are licenced, and you can only put posters up on them if you go through the people who own them. In fact, I have heard some pretty nasty stories about what happens to people that put posters up on them without permission, so please don't do that if you value your kneecaps. (If they can't trace you then they might trace me, so please don't stick posters up on these things unless you have the ok to do so - ta!)
