Backyard Babies, Leeds Cockpit.

Why are gigs getting earlier.

Went to see Backyard Babies last night in Leeds, c/o headline with Rasmus.
The Babies came on stage at 7.40 and played for 50 minutes.
They were fantastic, but far to early.
No support band.
Didnt both hanging around for Rasmus, as they arent my cup of tea.
Back home for 9.45, that includes an hours journey, earliest i've ever been home after a gig.

we're going wolves on fri. can't wait. quite happy about the early finish that'll give us time to get home then go down the pub for the last hour

although 50 mins on stage is a bit of a let down

sounds about typical time on stage for them from reviews of past shows on this forum

I like gigs that finish early, most times I see a band it's a week night and I have to get up for work so getting the last train home and going to bed at 1 can be a bit knackering. I'd be quite happy if all gigs finished at 10.

Aye, saw them headlining at the cockpit a few years ago and we were outside at 9.50. Took us fucking longer to get there than they were on stage!!!!

50 mins for a support band aint too shabby tho.
