The bands for the Bohemia Stage are listed in alphabetical order on the posters.

Oops, in my excitement I overlooked a few details! When the two Slipknot related bands were announced they were put to the top of the poster but then dissapeared into the alphabetical bit, given this and the fact some of the other bands at the top are rather small, I guess we can't get carried away yet.

Still, given most bands on that stage are smaller 'up and coming' acts, and that the Wildhearts are the only band to have a day confirmed, I'd say there's hope of a headlining slot.

Sure I read somewhere on the Sonisphere site that the two main stages will be side by side so hopefully won't miss any of the action.

I only bought a ticket yesterday as thought the Sunday bill looked too good to ignore, then today the Wildhearts have been announced on the Saturday. Saturday does look a bit poor compared to Sunday, although wouldn't have minded seeing Airbourne and Skindred always good.

when sonsisphere was first announced they made quite a deal about the fact that unlike certain other festivals there wouldn't be two bands on at the same time. hard to imagine how they are gonna manage that with such a big line up though.
one thing thats always put me off festivals is that you look at the line uop and think its fantastic , then on the day you miss half the bands or they only play a few songs. apparently papa roach played 9 songs at download - thats hardly worth turning up for.

when sonsisphere was first announced they made quite a deal about the fact that unlike certain other festivals there wouldn't be two bands on at the same time. hard to imagine how they are gonna manage that with such a big line up though.

They're sticking to their original plan of the two main stages running so bands don't clash. They had this other area called Bohemia which was going to have some bands and other entertainment later into the night when the main stages aren't running. They then decided as they had Bohemia in place, they might as well put other bands in there all day, but make it up and coming bands rather than the established acts they were having on the main stages, which makes it strange the Wildhearts are in there. Of course, this is the official line, there's a sneaking suspicion that ticket sales were slower than expected, so they've been throwing out more incentives for people to come, one of which is more bands in Bohemia which will clash with the main stages.

9 songs isn't bad. Unless you're the Ramones it's bordering on about a 45 minute set, which is about usual for most festivals before the top couple of bands.

Ginger only did 8 at Camden Rocks.

fair enough. i just meant if you were going to a festival on the strength of seeing a certain band and they only played a few songs disappointment might set in.

And that, folks, is why I cant wait to go see Bruce Springsteen next Sunday, there are only four bands playing on the main stage with the first act on at 12.30 so by the looks of things each band will get to play a full set. WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Gaslight Anthem again

I suspected this a while ago. Could that be why they later dropped the booking fees? And they were no day tickets on sale at first either. I think it's well overpriced - poor value for money compared to Download - only two days instead of three and nearly the same price. £20 to park your car in a field? They can fuck off with that! I'd love to go see Metallica, Airbourne, Thin Lizzy, and obviously the Wildhearts, but I just can't afford it.

I agree, but which song is Lifeline a rip off of? Sounds like an MCR track to me, but can't tell which one, since I ain't an MCR fanboy

That would me I'm Not Okay (I Promise), it's not a direct ripoff but it does sound very similar.
there's another song called Love You To Death by band called Kill Hannah that definatley sounds like a rip off but also at the same time sounds a billion times better.
