bit of a strange decision that one i think. mark has had way morre sucess with feeder than he did with skunk anansie.

I'll drum for Little Angels! Oh, that would be a dream come true...

If not, I'll take the Feeder job

As for Mark leaving Feeder, I may be wrong but I think he wanted more of a songwriting role, ergo, the jump to Skunk Anansie.

Yeah, after racking my brains a bit, I did a search on all the forums I regularly go on to see if anything about them popped up, and both threads turned up, I just came on this one first. Don't have any of their CDs yet so wouldn't know their sound, but can't wait for Chutzpah anyway!

The Stone Gods would be class too, they're working on their 2nd album at the mo, so depends when they're looking to get out on the road with it. They're also one of my favourite bands, so a Wildhearts + Stone Gods gig would make my day....

Teenage Fanclub. I don't claim have any musical knowledge, but i have always felt that there are massive similarities within the songs both bands construct....

....am willing to be corrected by those that know one end of a guitar from another....

That's interesting because I am I fan of both bands. I think the similarities come from both bands having great songs and great melodies and a certain pop sensebility.

I started listening to the Wildhearts in the early 90's and to me they fitted right in with other bands I was listening to like Teenage Fanclub, Sugar, Buffalo Tom, Seneless Things, Mega City Four etc etc....

I've always thought that is the reason the wildhearts weren't massive back then though, too rock for the indie kids, too pop for the metalheads.,,,,,maybe?


anyway, sorry I was going a bit off topic there....


as for the coming tour I'm really loving the Sorry & the Sinatras album, so I'd love to see them...I don't know how Scott would feel about playing twice a night though!!

How do Melx, welcome to the fold, what you said about being to pop for metal and stuff we've all been saying that for years so dont worry about it, if your new to this here board which I see you are, be a dear and go say hi in the introduce yourself post in the cloakroom, we're all one big mad mental family here, Eans the daddy (he paid me to say that), Trudis mummy, vicky p is the sister Damian is third cousin twice removed but we dont talk about that side of the family since the incident and I'm the weird cousin no-one likes to admit to knowing. and as for the rest, we'll I'm sure you'll find out as time gos on.
