GiNGER TO HEADLiNE TRASH-STOCK

Postby vickyp » 5th Jul 09, 21:41

Ginger has been confirmed to headline the one day Trash-Stock festival at Seven in Nottingham on Saturday 8th August.

http://blogs.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuse ... =498592474

The blub reads: "Ginger will be on stage at 10pm to play a set of songs from his extensive solo career. Tickets are still priced at just £10 advance - an absolute bargain to see Ginger, let alone the kick ass support line up which remains unchanged!"

The already-awesome line up includes:

New Generation Superstars
Drugdealer Cheerleader
Eureka Machines (woo!)
Teenage Casket Company
Shush
Obsessive:Compulsive
Kitty Hudson
The High Society
Peep Show

And now Ginger to headline!

A whole festival in one building :D

Only heard of the two obvious bands but sounds fun, although I wouldn't be able to go until about 6:30PM because that sarurday is the first day of the new football season, at home though not exactly far from Nottingham

Very awesome as it's down the road - except it's one of my best friends 30th birthdays in Manchester that same day, so I can't go.

Bad planning guys!

I'm thinking I might have to get me some tickets to this, obviously Eureka Machines and Shush are class acts, The High Society are really good too and I've been hearing good things about some of the others, but to have all that one one day and then Ginger on top? That's one heck of a bargain for a tenner.

Road trip to Nottingham I reckon 8)

Hi guys,

Glad that you lot are interested in this one. Just to introduce: I'm James, I'm the promoter behind Trash-Stock. We're really stoked to have been able to get Ginger to play the event and we're dead pleased that people seem to be showing interest in the other bands an all! Its good to hear that there are a few Eureka Machines fans on here, they were clearly the best new band that I saw last year and were one of the very first bands that we asked to play at Trash-Stock.

Anyway, if anyone has owt to ask or whatever about the festival feel free to prod me on here as I'll check back every so often, or hit me up via email: jaimzriot@hotmail.com

Regards.

Hahahahahaahahahahah ... the old "could you just move it" routine! Hahahah ... oh for a quid everytime I've hear that! I'd say to that: move your holiday, and move to Nottingham!

We've actually tried Trash-Stock on all different dates, but ended up clashing with Bloodstock or Rock'nBlues or summat else ... ironically we do actually clash with the Bulldog Bash but its never seemed to give us any troubles at all and we've sold out the last two years!

Ok, if we're driving, you're on. If we're getting the train I shall try and choose one that stops in Sheff. Round up the usual suspects!

Yeah, that line up is now definitive. If anyone drops out last minute I probably won't replace them as in reality we are a bit tight on time so we'd probably just run with 9 bands if that happened.

Folks generally book into Travelodge, Britannia or Premiere Inn for our shows. Although if you check out Smoothhoud.com you might find some decent local hotels with a good deal.

Got Warrior Soul tonight so we'll be doing some promo for the Ginger there!
