earworm, sticky, catchy, call it what you want. The important thing is the hooks are there by the boatload judging by the clips.

It amuses me how some reviews are saying some of it sounds American like that's a bad thing. Do we really need to list how many good American bands there are and have been? When you're buying music do you really discriminate on where it comes from, or just whether it's good or bad? I don't think any of what I've heard sounds particularly American, just really good! Some of it has the big sounding production of classic albums which happen to be American, but that's ironic because the producer is Danish.

well the ones that just got emailed to me were each about 3 or more minutes long

absolutely 100 per-fucking-cent badass so far!!!

also hearing a full quality version rather than streamed clips, i'm noticing a subtle sorta layer of atmospheric noise/synth in the background (or just really good layering of sound) that kinda reminds me of the production on devin townsend's "accelerated evolution" but less echoey. which is of course fucking awesome!!!

something else has also just hit me - if you listen to the early WH stuff, everything from "Mondo..." through "Fishing for Luckies" (and i guess in a sorta twisted way, EN too) had a really kinda epic, grandiose feel to it, in the harmonies and the way the riffs were written and played, as though they were being dropped onto you out of the sky, and that feel seemed to missing for the most part since then (and i'm saying that despite the fact that the self-titled got me into the band and is still one of my favourite albums!). well there's something about some of the riffs and harmonies on "Chutzpah!" that seem to have brought that feeling back! i've got a really good feeling about this album!

Funnily enough, the first time I heard of and saw a pic of the Wildies (in a small piece about PHUQ in Loaded) I'm pretty sure Ginger appeared to be trying to tongue Danny in the photo.

In the same story, Ginger talked about 'sticking your finger up someone's arse and wiggling it about shouting WALALALALA!' being a great way of annoying someone. So this guy probably got off lightly.

What does it say for me that I immediately thought 'These guys sound amazing!' But amazing they actually were.
