I slept thru it on sunday night, apparently people were lighting fires all over the place, throwing gas canisters in, ripping up bins, tearing out fences, burning tents, then there was a big confrontation when the riot police showed up, tear gas, dogs and everything. The place looked absolutely wrecked when I walked through the campsite on the monday morning. If you search Download riots on youtube there's some camera phone footage up there already.

It was another case of a small minority of dickheads spoiling it for the rest, hopefully this doesnt have any implications for next years fest.

Last year at Reading it were the same, people burning cannisters and putting whole tents on fires  No one in them i think, but the poisonous crap that comes out whenh you burn them has got to be bleedin' awful for the atmosphere
The tent thing's usually the little rich kids, cos no-one else can afford to chuck a perfectly good tent on a fire  dunno what you can do to stop it all tho other than spraying the entire site with fire-retardant foam on teh Sunday night

Yep - plenty of footage of people who don't deserve access to oxygen. Why do people have to spoil everything?

Probably the same twats and tossers that seem to get daddy to buy them tickets to all the big festivals just so they can act like a class act retard and ruin it for the real music fans!!!!
