I've downloaded this show and the Ginger and the sonic circus gigs and will be converting them to 320kb/s mps and sharing them in the hub over the next few days, (bear with me got day job too!) for all the guys and gals out there who cant do flac files.

I'd prefer if you didn't (please see the note at the bottom of the torrent). This isn't to stop the sharing of the show, just to stop the degrading of the recording. pm me if you'd like to know my reasons for this.

Why not offer an old fashioned B&P instead?

If nobodys willing to do this, I'll happily run one.

ok Ive read the note, and sorry if ive upsaet anyone.

I wont add them to the hub yet (unless ppl really want me too, but the first 4 people to send me a personl message i will burn the flac files to a cd and send them to you. The semi acoustic show runs for just over 30 mins so its one cd, i may be willing to run something simular for the ginger and the sonic circus gig but thats 2 cds.

Again sorry if Ive upset anyone, it was not my intention i was just trying to help those who dont have the flac ability hear these shows.

By the way whats B&P? (Burn and Post?

Upset? Goodness no!

But us tapers are a funny lot..yes, I know its not our music, but we (often) work very hard to get decent sounding recordings out to the fans, so please excuse our odd requests.

B&P: Blanks & Postage.

Great offer, you'll probably find most people would prefer audio though.

Cheers

the cd's would be audio cds taken directly from the flac files so there should be no loss in quality.

Losslessly compressed audio files (FLAC data files are around 50% the size of the audio files they replace):

http://flac.sourceforge.net/

Used for torrenting shows as it saves time and bandwidth. Also sometimes used for trading, as you can almost guarantee shows will be error free.

Did I confuse anyone? In that case you need audio format :)

So..did anyone else tape any recent (March-July) Ginger shows?

Downloaded the GATSC one yesterday and am doing this one today, eventually got it sorted after waiting ages to get a Dime account and then finding out that it didn't suport any of my torrent downloaders

I will try to put the GATSC gig on a multi-Player on my Ginger myspace for everyone to have a listen.

Thanks for the recording, great quality :D
