The new Cheap Trick recording " Rockford " is really good. Considering that they are Gingers favorite band you all should check it out. You can see where the " Great Man " got some of his wonderfull taste from!! Pour a cold one and crank it up lads!!!!!

I have it on right now... got it a few days ago and love it already.

Ginger was raving about it at the recent Bristol gig, so I considered that a pretty good recommendation. Top album!

I bought it today. Just listening to "This Time You Got It" and can't help thinking it's an ELO track.

<edit> it's a good album <end of edit>

This thread is a little late in happening...but better late than never. For those who appreciate good, hard, power pop as only CT can deliver, Rockford ranks up there with their best. Nielsen's guitars are screaming, Zander's voice stunning, drums and bass as thunderous as ever.

My album of the year so far (and that includes the mighty "Pearl Jam"!)

Only one band can top this release in my opinion, and that's a huge challenge.......

Cheers, Keith

Well there was a time when the release in question had the working title "Sod's Law". Not too sure if that still stands now however.
