Albums, singles, songs and general Ginger banter

Isn't Sonic Circus the name of the live group that (solo) Ginger takes with him when touring?
I mean, VDC is a Ginger solo album, but he takes Sonic Circus when playing live. You won't find "Sonic Circus" written on any albums, I don't think...?

Yeah, so far it has been like that. But on the last mail shot that went out it said they were hoping for a GATSC album this year. I guess that would mean input from some/all of the guys n gals.

The first thing in me head was Rush and Bob Marley. I'm glad I'm not the only one. This is Ginger solo, like VDC, but he did say he was gonna do a GaTSC record with the others contributing to the writing.

I can't seem to get to listen to it properly. MySpace keeps stopping and starting the song, some what infuriating to say the least. From what I did hear it's not quite what I expected, a little too ELO-ish for me, byt perhaps when I get a better listen I'll be able to form a better opinion.

Try letting it play all the way thru(starting and stoppin) and then play it again once it has finished.

Yeah Im having the same problem - I can make out enough to tell it's feckin ace! I love stuff with all that groove and melody. Ive been listening to and loving Zenyatta Mondatta by The Police the last couple of weeks but that chorus shits on most of the choruses on that album!!!

I didn't even realise there was another ginger album due this year - sweet!

Well, you lot have pretty much put down what I was thinking - great song, gets even better with repeated listens. As a big Police fan, I definitely approve! Agree about the hints of Rush and 'Hold The Line' too.

Anyone have any idea when the album is coming out?

I hated The Police so this kinda leaves me a bit cold.
Still, there's allways the rest of the album.
