He's always had an agenda: He wants to be a pop star (his words in the past) and do stuff like Top Of The Pops (not now, obviously). It's just that, and Tattyheid's not entirely blameless here, shit happened on the way to scupper things at previous attempts.

Things seem more stable these days, mind, so here's hoping...
