I'd just like to say - it's nice that for a change, "one-off show" doesn't mean "London". Both are about as far for me to get to (I live in Bristol), but this should cater for a few people that miss out on London events...

Anyone notice the Wolves Civic website info on the wh??

"Ginger and co. are still going strong after over a decade in the business, and still playing their infectious hard rawk music, with the odd Irish folk overtone."

Am i the only one who thinks it's odd?? (ok goerdie in wonderland was a little irish tinged but that is it as far as i'm aware).

They're clearly thinking of Geordie and that's about it...

Sam and me are looking at getting there - anyone know of a good b&b/hotel near gig or the station? It's got to be quite close cos we'll be coming up after work and trying to get back to work the next day

Depends on how much you want to pay? There's a Novotel about 5 mins from the station that's an easy walk to the civic. They've got a 'hot deal' of 52 quid for a double room.

ETA proper link.

The Novotel's not bad at all - if the deal includes the as-much-as-you-can-stuff breakfast then it's worth it!

Whether it's included and whether you can get in and out before they collar you for your room number are, however, two completely different things... :D

Are these tickets likely to sell out? As I will be at school when they go on sale... thinking of getting my dad to book them.

No way I'll be able to make it..... :(

Hopefully this'll be like the original Sonic Circus gig (which i was meant to go to but couldnt in the end) when there'll be a full tour later on so loads of people don't end up missing out.

I guess it depends on how many people check the board regularly. There's nothing on either of the main sites yet.

The place holds just over 1100 people apparently. It'll sell out, but probably not in five minutes (hopefully).
