You shoulda heard me try to explain to the boss why I was singing about nine coloured spastics on a meat hook at my desk this morning...

Especially as I sit 6ft away from one....

You sit 6ft away from a meat hook?????

It's all a bit funny this, isn't it? Everyone knows that Ginger isn't a man of prejudices and whatnot... but I couldn't tell anyone that I've got a copy of this record on order because they'd be horrified and think I'd turned into some kind of bigot! "No really Mum, his name isn't really C***, and he doesn't actually want to see anyone on a meathook and... and..."

Just finished first listen, and what a gerk of wucking fenius! 8) I laughed out loud on more than one occasion, and that's not good when you're walking through town with your iPod on. What chances some live filth I wonder? A whole show would be legendary...

Mmmm...I think the album is pretty amusing, and listening to it some of the lyrics sort of pass you by a bit, but I must admit I found reading the lyrics in the CD booklet a fairly unpleasant experience. I'm not trying to make any grand point here, just...yeah, its not really the sort of CD i'd really go round telling people to buy!

From what I've heard of it and read it's a bit like the audio equivalent to a low budget trash horror movie - wrong in so many ways yet strangely compulsive viewing (or maybe that's just me!).

I wasn't too sure what to expect but I love this album.
Its funny and sick in a way that Zappa would have been proud.

Wow.
I'm a geordie in wonderland.

I played a few tracks for a mate and he summed it up pretty well:

"It's a country and western Derek And Clive"

Just giving it my first listen now. How exactly can I say to my neighbours, "That's right - I was singing 'A lil' bit of gravy helps the dog lick my balls" without offending them?

Laughing my nuts off here. Pure genius!
